Drying
& curing with infrared heat offers
many advantages
over convection based systems.
Radiant energy heats the the
substrate, driving out solvents before the actual curing occurs,
eliminating the possibility of blistering and popping.
Catalytic heaters provide a
direct transfer of energy to the heat object. The result is a
much faster temperature rise and dramatically shorter processing times.
Convection ovens require tons
of air that can blow powder off the part or leave contaminents on the
finish.
Catalytic ovens consume about
50% less gas than convection ovens and generally require a shorter
footprint.
